On Monday 19th February, the BBC came to video our students taking part in a Shakespeare drama workshop exploring the play ‘The Tempest’.
Our school has been working in partnership with Dr Abigail-Woodall from the University of Birmingham and Tracy Irish from the RSC Theatre. We have been supporting them in their ‘Signing Shakespeare Project’ which involves the creation of amazing online resources and activities to support teachers teaching Shakespeare to Deaf pupils.

The Braidwood Band rehearse weekly as one of SFE Music Service's school-based ensembles. They have just recorded a video for the SFE online City Music Festival. Great playing guys!

Some of our Year 9 learners visited the food market in Birmingham City centre. As part of their "meat" topic in food tech this term, they went to look at the range of meat and fish available to buy.
