Our Year 7s had a fantastic two night residential visit to Brighouse Residential Centre in Atherstone during December 2023. We have worked in partnership with Brighouse for a number of years. You can find information on the Brighouse here: https://www.thebrighouse.co.uk/
We had a lovely few days with the Year 7s. What a wonderful group they are!
Unfortunately, it was a rainy couple of days but this didn’t dampen our spirits and we enjoyed a range of activities at the Brighouse from baking, creating art using natural materials from the surrounding environment and editing photographs using the Snapseed App, as well as a number of team games and challenges.
We had a great evening bowling in Nuneaton (and an impromptu dance session!) and an exciting visit on our final day where we made friends with the tropical birds at Birdland in Atherstone.
Thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to make the visit a success and a huge thank you to our pupils who were a joy to be with.
