BSL - What's it about?

British Sign Language is an officially recognised minority language of Great Britain.  It is a language that uses, gesture, facial expression and body language together with fingerspelling.

Over 145,000 people in Britain use BSL as their preferred language.

Here at Braidwood, we have BSL lessons, just like our hearing peers have French or German lessons and we work towards qualifications - Level 1 and Level 2 BSL
