On Friday 1st July we welcomed Deaf Explorer to our school. The group led a variety of sessions that culminated in a showcase for learners and staff. Learners enjoyed meeting the group and were keen to ask them questions about their careers and learning journeys.

Our learners created a Visual Vernacular scene and a dance scene to incorporate into a final showcase with the professional dancers.

The learners got to practise their teamwork skills; supporting each other. It was great to see everyone working together.

We are excited to join the group again to create a film that will be shown at the Neighbourhood Festival as part of the Commonwealth Games.
